Salvation Awaits
“So the last will be first, and the first will be last, for many be called but few chosen” Matthew 20:16
Golden green hues,
Majestic trees presence,
Mighty branches as arms patiently holding space,
Peace and harmony interlaced.

Pondering the Universe’s view,
Seeing humanity’s self imposed suffering,
Is it sadness or disappointment,
Or maybe a slightly bit amused.
-
How distant we feel we are,
From God’s original mission,
Our spiritual amnesia so effective and complete,
Is this a feature, bug or some fourth dimensional feat?
-
Regardless of why or how difficult it seems,
So many helpful partners and forces on our team,
One need only be open in contemplation and mind,
Of course asking for help of Divine Will and Holy Spirit strength does bind.

Revelation of truth lies within,
Realization of Self our conscious awareness always here,
Disassociation of thoughts, feelings and body,
The space between and underneath where our inner light shines bright.

Cleansing ourselves of the poisons as the Buddha points out,
Greed, hatred and delusion, rising above judgement’s polarities our Samsara’s ties that bind,
Leaving envy behind, rather rejoicing in our brothers and sisters success as one,
Grants freedom innate in each of us, our sovereign true colors shine through.

Right thought and mindful action our peaceful being,
Transcending the darkness and needless distractions,
A short and narrow path available to all,
Nothing to stop us but our own twisted wrath.

For life’s labyrinth unfolds,
Birth, life and death we behold,
It’s how we use the time we have,
Service for all or narrowly to one.

Stand up and celebrate this news I do share,
Every moment of existence co-created together anew,
Our combined manifestations unfolding,
What level of Love do we dare?
-
The will of God is on Earth as it is in Heaven,
Humility’s acceptance of our true role,
For in forgiveness of others and self,
Sin’s apparent tarnish wipes cleanly away.

Each instance a choice the world we do share,
Served up today on a silver platter,
Regardless of our detours or meandering road here,
Deciding now is what matters,
Salvation awaits you.
