My Love Encompasses All
“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” - 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
My Love Encompasses All
Tiny stone,
Mightiest mountain,
Drop of rain,
Shining sea.
-
Buzzing bee,
You and me,
My Love encompasses all.
-
Put down your sword,
Lay down your anger,
Look inside and wonder.
-
You and me,
Here together,
Living world.
-
On land,
With sea,
Every animal,
you and me,
Can’t we just be?
-
Seeking power,
Hurting one another,
Win the race,
What do we face?
-
A world awry,
Want to cry.
Alas I won’t,
I chose this path,
Overcome my mote.
-
Rise up and above,
Stand up and say,
My Love encompasses all.
-
Suffering self inflicted,
You can end it.
Only then heal.
-
A loving appeal,
Each and everyone.
Rise up,
Reach out,
Help each other.
-
Time to awaken,
Brothers and sisters.
Waken from the dream,
Awaken to the light,
My Love encompasses all.
