Jesus note to Self
Written as if Jesus wrote a poem from now to guide himself and the disciples back in the day…
“For me, the different religions are beautiful flowers from the same garden, or they are branches of the same majestic tree. Therefore, they are equally true, though being received and interpreted through human instruments equally imperfect.” - Mahatma Gandhi
Jesus note to Self
Note to Self,
Wisdom of the ages,
Things to consider,
Guidance for the sages.
-
Lessons and parables,
Beautiful stories told,
God’s essence clear,
Savior to millions unfolds.
-
Considerations unsaid,
Human being’s strong egos,
Tenacious beasts to be fed,
Man’s desire of power unleashed.
-
Adding words unsaid,
Building walls around Father,
Great barriers and fear of his wrath,
No direct path.
-
Secret rituals and pomp arose,
Priests, Cardinals and the Pope,
Using force over power,
Chains of guilt’s fear imposed.
-
Waging war in my name,
Doing harm and dictating,
Clearly opposite my teachings,
Playing their own game.
-
Be specific in direction,
Letting no man come between,
Each person’s awakening,
Universal truths unforsaken.
-
Living the prayer,
Focusing on life and resurrection,
Not the crosses red scare,
Love and light we all bear.
-
A reductionist message,
One impossible to fall,
Forgiveness, gratitude and kindness,
No exceptions to Love’s call.
