Grandfather Tree
-
Grandfather Tree
Ageless one,
Sprouted long ago,
Your mother,
A thousand years or more,
Watching Buddha become.
-
Blown by wind
Brushed Jesus face,
His presence alive,
Before the human race.
-
Witness all,
Such progress we call,
God’s children,
Their Spirits befall.
-
What wisdom,
Patiently observing,
Sometimes baffling,
Never unnerving.
-
God’s link,
Your roots,
Your bod,
Air we breath,
Even nod?
-
Touch trunk,
Energy flows,
Heart awakens,
Nobody knows.
-
Grandfather Tree,
What can we be?
If we share,
Our love of thee.
-
A pathway to,
Kingdom of Heaven,
For you and me.
